The first time Kevin Easterday played Cornhole he was thinking about the possibility of going to Africa with his church.
He was at a barbecue Memorial Day weekend, 2012. Some friends were playing Cornhole—a competitive, yard game where players throw beanbags at a board, attempting to get the bag in a hole at the top of the board.
Easterday said had been thinking about taking a trip with Destiny Church in July 2013. It was still more than a year away, but he wasn’t sure how his family would be able to afford the more than $4,000 the trip would cost.
